The European Retina Meeting 2007 (ERM 2007) was held in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, from October 4-6, 2007.

The meeting venue was the House am Dom, located in the very heart of Frankfurt, next to the Frankfurt cathedral.

ERM 2007 focussed on early visual processing in the vertebrate retina, including anatomical, physiological and modelling approaches. The meeting was organized by the DFG-supported Research Unit “Dynamics and Stability of Retinal Processing”.

The idea of the ERM is to bring together retina specialists from Europe and overseas to facilitate a wider exchange of ideas and concepts and to invoke stimulating discussions about the complex mechanisms that underlie retinal processing.

We thank all participants for their contributions!
